Torrisi's Famous Hot Sauce
A DIY hot sauce made from a few pantry ingredients all year round, with just one and will keep for up to 6 months in the fridge. Recipe adapted slightly from Rich Torrisi and Mario Carbone, via New York Magazine.

or other pickled hot peppers, drained and stemmed

roasted red peppers
drained

ounces
crushed tomato

extra-virgin olive oil

red pepper flakes

teaspoon
dried oregano
1/4
teaspoon
honey
Salt to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender, and mix for 30 seconds or until smooth.
Transfer to bottles or jars with a lid.
Store in the fridge for up to 6 months
