Tell the fathers and father figures in your life to get ready, because this Father’s Day lunch menu is going to blow their newly-gifted socks off! (Anyone else struggle with Father’s Day presents?).

I’ve selected a start-to-finish, done-for-you menu that features my Slow Cooker Braised Pork alongside other crowd-pleaser recipes that are hearty enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites.

Whether you’re hosting lunch, dinner, or a mixture of the two, there are recipes here for everyone!

😍 To Kick Off Father’s Day Lunch: The Best Chunky Guacamole

This recipe was inspired by a vacation I took with some girlfriends to Tulum, Mexico. I had heard wonderful things about Tulum, not the least of which was the incredible food, and I came home craving one thing in particular: the chunky, salty, herb-flecked guacamole.

This guacamole isn’t smooth like you find at most restaurants and markets here in America. It’s textured and filled with big pieces of avocado, dressed with fresh lime juice and bursting with flavor. It’s one of the recipes my friends and family look forward to enjoying most when invited to my house, and the perfect way to kick off a Father’s Day celebration!

Oh my goodness, this recipe (with one cheat using canned petite diced tomatoes) was perfect. I could taste all the ingredients separately in each bite which made it so special. Perfect!

🥗 Salad, But Make It Father’s Day Lunch-Worthy: Pesto White Bean Salad

This salad may be a Hungry Lady Salad, but let me be the first to say, it’s for the guys too! Something this good deserves to make an appearance at Father’s Day Lunch, trust me. It’s packed with flavor from the basil pesto, garlic croutons and balsamic glaze, and is perfect to make ahead of time. Get ready for crunchy, salty, delicious texture – the ultimate pairing for a meaty main, or as your contribution to someone else’s spread!

One of my TOP FAVORITE recipes to make for a crowd!! It is always such a crowd-pleaser and super meal-prep friendly 🙂 The white bean, balsamic tomato combo is such a flavor explosion – love it!

🥔 What’s A Father’s Day Lunch Without Potatoes? Crispy Salt & Vinegar Smashed Potatoes

If you and your family are salt and vinegar potato chip fanatics, this recipe is about to become a menu staple. Salty, crispy, with that bright acidic flavor? Yes please.

If eating potato chips with dinner feels like a stretch, or you want to dress up your lunch spread, these potatoes step in at just the right moment. But note: chips will always have a place in our home, but now we eat them at 11pm after three hours of Netflix, like civilized people.

Crispy Salt & Vinegar Smashed Potatoes

These Crispy potatoes are everything you love about that salt and vinegar flavor profile, but in a crispy, creamy smashed potato.

🍽️ For The Father’s Day Lunch That’s Basically Dinner: Slow Cooker Braised Pork

Brace yourself because this may be a controversial opinion, but I’m not a big fan of the pulled pork tossed in syrupy sweet barbecue sauce. I am a big fan, however, of it topped with a bright, acidic sauce like this one.

This Slow Cooker Braised Pork with Parsley-Vinegar Sauce is quite possibly my favorite way to eat a big, affordable cut of meat like a pork butt or shoulder.  Not only is it incredibly simple to make, it is a total crowd-pleaser and leftovers are great on sandwiches or in rice bowls all week long.
